In less than 90 seconds the new video highlights the upside-down priorities of Oregons Medicaid system. Lobbying groups have used the political process to push health reform for special-interest causes like substance abuse and weight loss treatment ahead of treatments for some kinds of cancer on the priority list.

@thereinliestherib yes I do
@davijeph Ah the final turn of the atheist: merely say the opposite of the other guy, because you have no explanatory efficacy of your own.
@thereinliestherib No it does not.
@davijeph Of course not. Thinking requires work, after all.
@thereinliestherib No it is not.
@davijeph No one believes in the God you don’t believe in. Something to think about.
@MrNDSteinbach And still, no point…
@thereinliestherib Hey, I’m going to school, I have friends, I have a life. I don’t stay on the internet all day like you might do and ‘debate’ on Youtube. That is why I cut you off…
@thereinliestherib Have some humility? OK, I’m a very unimportant atheist. Now piss off you prat.
@MrNDSteinbach Naw, you cut me off when you couldn’t offer up an objective rebuttal.
@davijeph Of course you’re an Atheist. Because you BELIEVE there is no God, just as you BELIEVE you can deflate the giant, swirling chasm between it and agnosticism and thereby co-opt an actual philosophical position with a position of crass, bourgois bigotry (atheism). Have some humility you wind-bag of nihilist hokum…

@davijeph Thank you
@MrNDSteinbach Good luck and make a good life for yourself, from an old wrinkly Brit who despite that is nonetheless is still having one. Regards
@davijeph I just said that stuff to just cut him off…
XD
Don’t worry, I’m not going to let some random person on the internet mold my beliefs…
@MrNDSteinbach Unlike “thereinliestherib” I am an Atheist, Atheism is an absolute ,you cannot be “quite Atheistic” the nearest you can get is agnostic. I’m pro-choice, being Atheistic does not make you selfish any more than having a faith does. Selfishness like most human feeling and personnel values is a matter of your nature and nurture. Be that which you wish to be, not what someone makes you believe, learn about life and values make up your mind and live by your values not someone else’s.
alright obama get those crooks. obama in 2012
Obama sucks ….
@thereinliestherib Thanks
@MrNDSteinbach No philosophy in your school? What a friggin travesty. “Let’s teach them what to think, not how.” What an age. Go and get yourself some Sartre, Camus, and Cormac McCarthy. I wish people recommended them when I was younger. Good times…
@thereinliestherib I wish my school had some sort of class related to philosophy, but sadly no. Sorry about being confused about the word ‘selfishness’ in context of your statement. I’ve never really heard it in such a context.
@MrNDSteinbach Go to school if you want philosophical debate–not here. Atheistic “selfishness” does not posit something negative, only that we only have ourselves to rely on, and are that much more responsible for these short and bitter lives. Atheism makes one more responsible for one’s actions, in the absence of some great disciplinarian in the sky. And as a matter of fact, you’re speaking to someone who is (mostly) pro-life and also quite atheistic. Sooo… good point.
@thereinliestherib How is atheism selfish? Fundamentalist theist think the Universe was made for them. Atheist don’t believe something like that. Many atheist support living and giving everyone the chance to live. Before you say it, atheist can be pro-life.
@MrNDSteinbach Neat. Gott mitt ons. Just kidding… If you are indeed an atheist, a philosophy of selfishness (in a neutral sense), then how can you support collective-based healthcare? It’s precisely what the existentialists (atheists) called “bad faith.”
